A synchronic study was carried out in fallow land divided into three age classes (0- 3 years, 4-7 years and more than 8 years) of the Mbobero site in post-cropping fallows as a fundamental component of agrarian landscapes. Our study site lies in an altitude range between 1,496 and 1,523 m above sea level and is located 8 km from downtown Bukavu in the east of DR. Congo. The objective was to show that the evolution of floristic parameters during post-cultural dynamics can reflect the stage of succession. The parameters used were: biological, phytogeographic, foliar and diasporic types. The data obtained were processed by statistical methods, mainly biodiversity indices and multivariate analyzes. A total of 139 species were recorded, with a strong presence of phanerophytes in the young state. This suggests that the Mbobero post-cropping fallows undergo a progressive dynamic characterized by the succession of several stages. Three species are reported for the first time in the flora of the DR Congo. The Canonical Analysis of Matches (CAM) made it possible to understand the significant influence of certain environmental parameters according to the age of fallows and the relations between these parameters and the most recurrent species.
