This workshop has students in the age of 14 - 16 as target group. They are introduced in the basics of adaptations of rainforest versus drought plants. Through experiments that involve skills of biology, mathematics and physics, they discover different aspects of adaptations of drought plants. They try to answer the research question 'which cactus is best adapted to its environment' and finally find out that all surviving plants are champions of adaptations and winners in the evolutionary history.
