This report examines and illustrates the possible changes in the nature, occurrence and
organisational principles of economic activities following a CE transition. The issue is approached
approached spatially via the current existing businesses and the location factors, which are taken into account in the
economic classification of VPO or segments. Thanks to CE-hypotheses/assumptions from the
BUUR/Rebel research "Four urban cases on possible transition directions to circular
Economy i.f.v. Segmentation V", the shift from current to future CE-segments is studied in three cases (Roeselare, Belgium).
