Both internal and external analyses of the JaarBAK in recent years have revealed a number of issues that justified adjustments to the method. This report is primarily a technical description of the method used for the JaarBAK maps, and of the adjustments to this method from JaarBAK 2023 onwards. The final section evaluates the results and discusses the evolution of the sealed surface based on the annual soil sealing maps.
