This volume provides the flora treatment for species of the tribe Eleochariteae, family Cyperaceae occurring in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda and Burundi. Within this region, this tribe is represented by 15 species accommodated in a single genus. Each species treatment comes with a full description, synonyms, data on their distribution, habitat, vernacular names and uses, as well as references to additional literature and the citation of representative specimens. A user-friendly key to all species is provided, along with 14 detailed illustrations to assist species recognition.
