A short biographical sketch introduces the list of the 427 publications of Andre Lawalree, honorary Head of the Department Vascular Plants (Spermatophyta-Pteridophyta) of the National Botanic Garden of Belgium. His works deal with systematics and floristics of a wide array of vascular plant groups (inter alia ferns and compical Africa, botanical illustration, and history of botany. A list of the twelve taxa that commemorate Andre Lawalree is given.
