One of the three major subclades of the genus Arcyria is revised with an integrative taxonomic approach. Based on morphological (light microscopy and scanning electron microscopy), genetic (two-gene phylogeny, ASAP and STACEY species delimitation), and biogeographic analyses, ten new species of Arcyria are described, among them one name is provisional. Additionally, six subspecies of the type species of the genus, A. denudata, are described, considering evidence of incomplete speciation. For nine already described species, emended descriptions are provided based on the barcoded sets of specimens. For another six species, type specimens were studied morphologically, but not barcoded; notes for two more species are presented based on the literature analysis.
