The PLANTCOL website provides a user-friendly interface to search data from different Belgian plant collections. It is an initiative of The Association of Botanical Gardens and Arboreta (V.B.T.A. vzw).

The website is hosted at the Botanic Garden Meise who is in charge of general maintenance as well as the programming related to: Postgresql databases, data retrieval and visual interfaces with HTML, CSS coding and SQL, PHP scripting, data control and formatting, picture formatting and steganography. The general design is provided by WEBS Internet Solutions bvba.
