PHASEO is a database used for managing the wild bean collection. The software used is PROGRESS, a fourth generation relational database management system. It runs on a Linux platform and internal users can access it using a SSH service such as putty.exe.
Data concerns accession (X/NI identifier, source, provenance, ...) as well as taxonomy (plant name, synonymy, geographical range, ...). More specific information are related to seed storage (short- and long-term), seed germination, photography, cultivation, herbarium, flower in alcohol, phenology …
The web version of PHASEO is extracted from the intern PHASEO database, using PHP and PostgreSQL technologies.
